Dr Kizito Kiyimba SJ, Vice Chancellor of Arrupe Jesuit University speaks about the Inaugural Graduation Ceremony

Dear Friends,

On the 30th of May, Arrupe Jesuit University is celebrating its inaugural celebration. On the 24th of February 2018, we were inaugurated as a university. And after an inauguration, the most significant event in the life of a university is the graduation of its students. This comes 24 years since opening of the doors of Arrupe College back then, and the graduation of its own students was a dream in the mind of the founding fathers of the university and that’s why on this occasion we are going to make sure that as many of the founding fathers are around to celebrate their dream.

During the 24 years, we have been churning out graduates of two other universities, namely: The Gregorian University in Rome and the University of Zimbabwe. This is the first time we have our own batch and they are all masters students. We thank you for this opportunity and we would like to welcome you to be with us our joy and our success. We hope in the employability of our students; we hope they will go out there to serve and lead.

Thank you!
